About Avianto’s Journal

This journal started as a simple distraction from boredom during thesis days back in college. What began as a place for raves and rants slowly turned into a long-running archive of life, work, travel, technology, design, and everything in between. The archive now spans posts from 2000 onward, with a few quiet stretches where life moved faster than publishing.

Avianto’s Journal covers a wide range of topics, as Douglas Adams put it so eloquently in his misnomer trilogy The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Life, the Universe and Everything. The current edition of the site is built with Astro, Tailwind CSS, custom Markdown processing, and Cloudflare Workers hosting, but the premise is unchanged: one person, deeply involved with technology, sharing a point of view on life, the universe, and everything.
