I just notice (Thank you, echa, for notifying this) that my commenting system was broken. Kaput. Blew up.

It supposed to block spammer but instead of blocking just the spammer, the setting blocked everybody, including legitimate comment. Well, this preventive measure should not be here if I wasn’t received too many comment spammer. So yes, blame it on the spammer and of course, my lousy programming skill if you must blame me .

I’ve made some modification (again) and hopefully this time it will worked like it should work. So if you can’t write any comment, send me email and let me know when it happened so I could trace it back on my log system.

Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. But really, this comment spam things was really getting out of hand. If this thing is getting worse and worse, I probably have to shutdown the comment system for good… I don’t want that to happen so please, let me know if my current security measure is not working so I could tweak it up a little bit.

This is what I called a great project. Ourmedia.org is a new website that provide free storage and free bandwidth. Forever. From ourmedia website:

Amazing isn’t it? Supported by Drupal,Bryght and Internet Archive, this is one great project to creative people that need huge storage, high bandwidth and of course, exposure – lots of it.

This might sound like a very ambitious project for some. And for those pessimists out there… I just want to say one thing: cut it out, there are many decent people with good intention to human society. Leave us, the optimist, alone and let us build our optimistic world.

For me, personally, I always want to create a podcast about technology (especially Mac and gadget) in Indonesian language but always backing down because of storage and bandwidth limitation that I had (I already used 85% of my space in my server). Now with ourmedia I think those problem could be eliminated for good.

Anyway, one of my song was on the front page today. And of course you could see my profile at ourmedia.org. Enjoy.

It’s been a while, eh? Been busy with thesis and other stuff in life. The thesis progress is painfully slow, as always. Been working on other stuffs too, most of them are web development kind of work. I’ll let you know when they are done.

Got my student visa extended until July 2005. What a relief, at least I don’t have to worry for another 4 months or so.

Still looking for an apartment on my own now, right now I am occupying a couch in friend’s living room. Thanks Gerd!

What else? Hm, the spring is coming. The temperature is rising gradually, the day is getting longer and it means lots of sunshine, except when it’s rain or cloudy as usually happened most of the time in Germany. Blah.

Well, at least I could wake up with the sunshine on my face from time to time right now. It’s been quite depressing when you woke up and saw nothing but grey sky and snow covered white roofs. Winter had its own moment but right now, I rather enjoy the sun. But if you have your own personal sunshine then you don’t have to worry about bad weather, right? Hi sunshine, how are you today?
