Finally! I’ve got my visa extended! Now I can live in Germany until 2005 and also can travel around the Schengen countries freely. Hmm, if only I can work someplace to get some travelling money =).
Today I also have the second lecture about Collective Intelligence. I really like to write some of this incredible theory presented by the theory maker himself, Pierre Levy but I will do it on my other ‘new’ website here.
I am going home now…

Ied Mubarak everyone! Today I did my Ied prayer at the Turkish Mosque here in Lübeck and taste a couple of Turkish dishes which are great! Love it. I also met another Indonesian who live and work here for quite some time…
So, I really enjoyed myself today and I even wear my best suit today just to show how good I feel =). I also did some presentation in the Visual Communication class about CSS and Web Standards.
Well, I am quite content today and this day will be remembered as one of my best day in my life. So, again… Ied Mubarak everyone, may Ramadhan make the best out of you all.

Some people had been asking me the same question (with some modification for each person) since the first day of Ramadhan; “Are you fasting? Is it hard to fast there? Can you stand to fast there?” Well, sorry to dissapoint you all but I can only say; “I was fasting for the last 30 days. No, it wasn’t that hard. Yes, I can stand to fast while watching other eating their lunch”.
The truth is I found out that fasting here was not as hard as many people always told me. Well, maybe because I did it in the autumn when the day is shorter… or maybe because I just keep my faith and spirit up… or maybe because I just don’t care… to be honest, I don’t know. I am just doing the practice of my belief and that’s it, that’s all I care about.
Ramadhan is not all about ‘not eating’ only… is about cleaning yourself, be clear and consice about your existence in this particular life time. So the hardest part for me here in Germany while do the fasting is not about how to stand hunger or thirst but how to act and behave… And nobody ask me about that…
The keyword is Faith…

Finally, today I have my mobile connection! Thanks to my neighbor who accompany me to the mobile phone store. Well, there are lots of mobile provider here in Germany (O2, Vodafone, T-mobile and others) but after asking around and found out that only one provider can send SMS to ‘almost’ all Indonesian mobile provider then I choose T-Mobile D1. Why ‘almost’? Well, I don’t know why but I can’t send SMS to IM3… I can send SMS to Telkomsel, ProXL and Satelindo but not IM3…
By the way, do you know that the popular German word for mobile phone is “Handy”? Don’t ask me why… =)
