Out of lazy Sunday boredom, I am doing some small research on a couple of Indonesian personal weblog/journals. I want to see how many of them passed the validation test. I picked a couple of weblog/journals that I consider will pass the test (one of them in fact put the “Valid XHTML 1.0″ button on the website).

To my disbelief, none of them are passed, even the one with the button. Well, it’s not a big deal, in fact in everyday life I even won’t care about that too as long as it didn’t happened to mine.

Actually the most mistakes of those website/journals is sloppy entry. Sometimes they forgot to put the closing tag (one of them forgot to put opening tag), sometimes the ‘id’ tags come up twice, small things like that.

Oh well, this small research afterall just to satisfy my curiosity. Now I know…

My cellphone’s SIM Card was damaged and already replaced. No big deal, since my number and my last account were intact but… my cellphone’s phonebook was gone, all 100 numbers on it =(.

Man… luckily I’ve made some backup a while ago, but to put it back to my cellphone will take quite some time and no, my cellphone is not those expensive-data-transfer-to-pc-ready… It’s a very cheap barebone cellphone that sometimes acting strangely (like shut down itself when failed to send sms… strange, huh?)

Oh well, for those who think you should had your phone’s number in my phonebook, give me a help by miscalling me or sms me so I could automatically (well, not quite automatically, as I said my phone is a strange one) add you in. Thank you.

After spending a couple of nights at ITCC, Jatiluhur now I am back at my home, sitting in front of my computer, writing this entry.

The experience was great. Meeting government officals from all over the country and giving them some introductional lectures about ‘what is a good government website’ was truly a precious thing. Watching their enthusiasm and asking their question were very exciting and enlightening.

I admired everyone of them, their spirit for seeking more knowledge are amazing as showed as they came from far away place like Natuna and Kutai. It was my honor to share my little knowledge with them.

It’s been a great couple of days. Love every minute of them…

I will go to Jatiluhur in a couple of minutes now. I will be one of the speaker at this event. I will be one of the speaker there and I will talk about “Web Design Introduction: From Information Architecture to Usability”.
