This news is scary: The FBI has been reading my diary.

Well, it happened in the Empire Kingdom of America but what is the guarantee that it would not happened in other part of the world?

Guess we should be more careful about writing our own opinions or even jokes from now on.

IE 5 Blues

May 30th, 2003

Just notice that the layout of this website is really really wrong with IE 5+ for Windows browser. Oh well, I guess I missed a couple of so-called IE-hacks to make this website looks all right like with other modern browser like IE6, Netscape 6/7, Mozilla 1, Firebird 0.6 and Opera 7.

If you are using IE 5+ for Windows and wondering why this website is look so strange, sorry for that. Will work on the issue soon.

8.30 – 17.30

May 28th, 2003

From yesterday, I was (supposed) to work at the office strictly on the official working hours which is 8.30 to 17.30. Yikes!

Well, honestly, I am not used to. I used to wake up around 7 or 8, eat bread or instant noodle, drink coffee with milk, sit in front of my home computer and working at home until around lunch time (about 11.00). Then I eat lunch and after that go to the office. Working until 19.00 or 20.00 and go home. That’s my usual routine.

But yesterday, I woke up (still) around 7. still eat bread and drink coffee but went straight to the office using my bike… Working ON TIME from 8.30. At 12.00 went home to eat lunch, back at the office before 13.00. Continue my work until 17.30 and buzzz!!! time to go home. So I went home… ON TIME! What a day… =) Wonder if I could keep this routine for some times.

Well, it worth to do anyway, afterall I am a little bit bored right now with my work so maybe if I change the routine I could be less bored. Hope so.

It's Zen…

May 28th, 2003

A cup of Tea
Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.
Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor’s cup full, and then kept on pouring.
The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. “It is overfull. No more will go in!”
“Like this cup,” Nan-in said, “you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?”

Taken from and read more on thesegoto11 – 101 Zen Stories.

TOEFL… argh!!!

May 26th, 2003

I am taking TOEFL today. Yeah, I know my English sucks but I just want to know how sucky I am by taking that test… =)

Started the day with panic mode because my cab was late to pick me up at 7.30. Man, how come the cab company as good as Blue Bird can be so annoying. This kind of thing already happened before and this morning it happened again! Luckily my mother was about to go out so I went to the test place with my mom’s car and I arrived just about 10 minutes before the test started… phew. I don’t know if the cab arrived or not… Just made a small reminder that Blue Bird’s cab is not so good at it was, too bad.

The test was not easy, of course!!! As you may already guess I was suck with the Structure/Writing part of the test… and for Listening and Reading, well… I can only said that those part of the test save my whole test… =)

Well, just have to wait for another 3 weeks for the result to come out. By then I and you all will know how sucky my English is…
